Programs

“Play is the highest form of research.”  -Albert Einstein
Early Learners Preschool Class

The Early Learners program is designed for children who turn 3 before September 1, are fully potty trained, and are new to the preschool experience.  This class will focus on basic themes, as well as developing social skills.  The children are encouraged to make discoveries about themselves and their friends, and to develop healthy attitudes about themselves and their world.  It's a center-based classroom designed for the children to make their own choices of play.  We incorporate art, beginning math concepts, early literacy, music and movement, and dramatic play.  With a play-based curriculum, our students will experience new adventures while learning at the same time.  To enroll in the program, children must be potty trained.  The Early Learners class is Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:45 am-11:30 am.

Pre-Kindergarten Preschool Class

This class is designed for students who have turned 4 by September 1, and will attend kindergarten in the next calendar year.  We have a play-based, child-centered approach that focuses on developmentally appropriate practices. Our curriculum integrates art, music, dramatic play, quality children's literature, and early math concepts, in order to foster a love for learning and acquire the skills necessary to form positive relationships with peers and adults.  Our goal is to prepare children for the transition into kindergarten, while still encouraging play-based learning. We want our students to graduate preschool confidently and to go into kindergarten well prepared!  We offer an AM Pre-Kindergarten class on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from  8:45 am-11:30 am, and a PM Pre-Kindergarten class on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 12:30 pm -3:15 pm.

Tuition and Fees

The tuition rate for the 2024-2025 school year is $1125.00 for Early Learners and $1440.00 for Pre-Kindergarten.   If monthly tuition is not paid in full by the due date, a late fee will be charged.  There is a one-time Registration/Supply fee of $100.00.  This fee is non-refundable and a spot will not be held until the fee is paid.   If a check is returned there will be a $25.00 returned check fee.

Health and Safety

We make each child's health and safety a priority, now more than ever.  We pride ourselves on providing a safe and sanitary environment for our students and staff and are actively following guidelines set forth by the CDC and the Oregon Health Authority.  Please make us aware of any allergies or medical conditions your child may have so we can work together to create a health care plan.  Pendleton Presbyterian Preschool is a peanut/nut free school and requires that all snacks be commercially prepared.  Each child must have a current and updated Immunization Record on file at the preschool.
